Learn how to take great photographs at night on our Peterborough Night Photography Tour. You’ll be lead around Peterborough City Centre on this walking tour by professional photographer Paul David Smith who will teach you how to get the most out of your camera in low light situations.
Taking in some of Peterborough’s most photographic locations, you’ll learn how to control shutter speed, aperture, ISO and new creative composition techniques. This hands-on, fun, practical tour will give you new photography skills that will improve your photography for years to come.
On this 2-hour city tour we will cover:
· Using shutter speed for long exposures and capturing light trails.
· The best aperture settings for night photography
· Using ISO and white balance
· Creative compositions.

What Happens After I Book
If we haven’t spoken prior then Paul will contact you with all the information you’ll need for your night photography tour.
Your Skills, Experience & Equipment
No skills are required to attend this course. The only equipment you will need to bring with you is your DSLR camera and lenses. If you own a tripod, please bring this with you too.
I Don’t Own A Camera Yet, Can I Borrow One?
Yes no problem, we have a Canon 5D MKIII and various lenses available to loan if required. There is no additional fee for this, we will just ask you to sign something that says if you break it, you agree to pay to get it fixed.
Training Start Time
This tour has a different start time for each month of the year to correspond with sunset time. Please select your date from the calendar above and start times will be displayed. We’ll run until finished but they usually last around 2 hours long.
This course will take place in Peterborough City Centre. The meeting point will be provided upon booking.
What Is The Refund Policy?
The fee you pay secures your chosen date and is only refundable up to 30 days prior to your booked tour date. If your booked tour date falls within the next 30 days then this is non-refundable under any circumstances. Should you wish to change your date to another we will always do our best to accommodate this so long as we are given more than 14 days’ notice of your booked in tour date.
