Long exposure portraits really deliver that wow factor with lots of people thinking the effect is created with photoshop. These effects are all created in-camera using different light sources to achieve different effects. No two images are ever the same due to the nature of the shoot so you can be sure of creating some portraits that are entirely unique to you.
This effect is also called light painting because we’ll ask you to stand super still for around 3 seconds and literally paint the light in around you whilst the camera shutter is open. These effects have taken some perfecting and we are pretty good at it now, but be prepared for a shoot with a little trial and error!
Want an image that is going to make you stand out from the crowd? Long exposure portraits will definitely get people talking about your picture.
Our absolute priority is keeping you and ourselves safe during your photoshoot, with this in mind we have implemented the following procedures to ensure we can all enjoy the photoshoot safely:
Paul will wear mask and gloves throughout the photoshoot due to it taking place within our photography studio.
We will maintain 2 metre social distancing at all times.
All equipment, furniture, door handle, etc. will be disinfected both before and after your photoshoot.
Hand sanitizer, gloves and hand-washing facilities will be readily available at all times.
Paul has been tested for Coronavirus which came back negative.
Your photoshoot will take place at our custom fitted small home studio based in the UK.
We are able to provide a professional hair and makeup artist for this shoot should you wish. This is an additional fee of £75.00. Please note this fee is not set by us and we make no profit on it. Should you wish to arrange your own hair and makeup artist or do it yourself then this is perfectly OK.
All of your photos will be professionally edited and you will receive all of the selected high-resolution photos from the session via digital download. We know you want to look your best and that is why we professionally edit each and every image to a high standard. We won’t change anything major and we won’t do it without your consent. No huge body shape changes, no changing of hair colours or anything crazy, we’re just polishing the fine details of the image to make them the best they can be.
This portrait session will usually last around 2 hours.
Our standard fee delivers 20 – 40 professionally edited, high-resolution photos.
Please choose your session date and start time from the calendar above. Your session will start promptly at this time.
Yes of course, you are very welcome to bring somebody with you. Please note however our house isn’t huge, so we’d prefer this to be one person than an entourage of family and friends.
We will not try and sell you prints, if you require assistance getting the photos printed this can be arranged, however, it’s so easy to do this yourself online or at a photo printing store.
The fee and/or deposit you pay secures your chosen date and is only refundable up to 7 days prior to your booked portrait session date. If your booked portrait session date falls within the next 7 days then this is non-refundable under any circumstances. Should you wish to change your date to another we will always do our best to accommodate this so long as we are given more than 7 days’ notice of your booked in portrait session date.
