Boudoir photography is an intimate art form, capturing images that we can share with loved ones or use to boost our own confidence. Paul David Smith has worked as a professional boudoir photographer since 2008, he is a relaxed, friendly individual takes pride in his photography and strives to deliver images that will exceed your expectations. Understanding that boudoir photography isn’t something you do every day, Paul is discrete in what he does and you can take comfort in the knowledge that he has been involved in hundreds of boudoir photoshoots so will guide you through posing to ensure you look your best in the images.
Our absolute priority is keeping you and ourselves safe during your photoshoot, with this in mind we have implemented the following procedures to ensure we can all enjoy the photoshoot safely:
Paul will wear mask and gloves throughout the photoshoot due to it taking place within our photography studio.
We will maintain 2 metre social distancing at all times.
All equipment, furniture, door handle, etc. will be disinfected both before and after your photoshoot.
Hand sanitizer, gloves and hand-washing facilities will be readily available at all times.
Paul has been tested for Coronavirus which came back negative.
Your photoshoot will take place at our custom fitted small home studio based in the UK.
No, you’ll need to either do this yourself or organise a hair / makeup artist to attend during your session. We’ve no problem if you’d like them to do your hair and makeup here.
Your session will last up to 3 hours. It may be quicker, but we like to get it right and not rush things so please do allow this amount of time.
Our standard fee delivers 25 – 40 professionally edited, high-resolution photos.
We’d prefer you booked in on one of our set times, however you are very welcome to contact us to ask. We have set start times for boudoir sessions as we often have multiple clients per day and it allows for better organisation of our time.
Yes of course, you are very welcome to bring somebody with you. Please note however our house isn’t huge, so we’d prefer this to be one person than an entourage of family and friends.
From our side it will just be Paul present, nobody else. You are welcome to bring somebody with you if that would make you more comfortable.
Then definitely choose a woman photographer. Boudoir shoots are an intimate experience which you need to be at your most comfortable. We’ve done hundreds of boudoir shoots over the years and Paul will always be super professional and help you to relax and enjoy the shoot, however we understand that being photographed by a male in these circumstances isn’t for everybody.
The fee and/or deposit you pay secures your chosen date and is only refundable up to 7 days prior to your booked portrait session date. If your booked portrait session date falls within the next 7 days then this is non-refundable under any circumstances. Should you wish to change your date to another we will always do our best to accommodate this so long as we are given more than 7 days’ notice of your booked in portrait session date.
