Asylum Steampunk Festival Lincoln

Taking place over four splendid days during the August bank holiday in Lincoln, the Asylum Steampunk Festival just happens to be the largest steampunk festival in the world. Attracting steampunk enthusiasts from all over the world the streets of Lincoln were filled with splendidly dressed steampunks in a festival of arts, music, comedy and plain good fun.

When I received the call to ask if I would photograph a couple of the days for an industry magazine I must admit to being quite excited! I wasn’t disappointed… in fact, I was utterly amazed at just how much effort everybody had gone to with the outfits and how approachable they were when it came to me asking for photographs.

I’d like to offer a huge thanks to everybody who let me take portraits of them, you were all superstars indeed.
