Whether you are looking to take your first steps with photography or you have owned a camera for some time, this 1-2-1 course with professional photographer Paul David Smith is designed to improve your photographic knowledge, inspire your creativity and teach you new practical skills which you can use in your photography on a day to day basis.
The course is designed entirely around you and the things that you would like to improve upon. Paul will ask you to send email over a list of things that you’d like to learn on the course and ensure the content is tailored to your specific requirements. Whether that is getting out of auto and learning how to control your aperture, shutter speed and ISO manually. Or improving your composition techniques, off camera lighting or editing; this one day course is designed to cut years off your learning time by learning from somebody who spends every day overcoming photographic challenges for his clients.
This photography course, adaptable to various genres like landscapes, portraits, products, street photography or nature, offers not just theoretical learning but practical experiences in real locations. You’ll engage in hands-on shooting sessions, complemented by personalized image critiques to refine your technique. The course goes beyond capturing images; it delves into elevating your work to professional levels with advanced Photoshop and Lightroom post-production skills. This comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded learning experience, catering to both the artistic and technical aspects of photography.
A few examples of what you could learn on the course:
Paul has worked as a professional photographer since 2008. During this time he has photographed thousands of weddings, portraits, products, properties, landscapes and more. His broad knowledge of photography allows him to teach across a wide variety of genres where you benefit from learning from the experiences, mistakes and success he has encountered throughout his photography journey.
He takes a lot of pride in sharing his experience and seeing the people who attend his courses develop their skills and believes there is no better feeling than seeing somebody leave at the end of the day having progressed their photography immensely during the training.
