It’s not very often an impromptu photo-shoot occurs which gets such fantastic results but this was certainly one of them. Sat on the beach in Newquay with my sister, beer firmly in hand we’re watching the epic sunset when I decided we just couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to get some epic shots.
With little more than a concept of some silhouette photographs in mind, we positioned ourselves facing the sunset and my sister Kelly started working her way through her repertoire of body balance poses from the class she teaches.
I do enjoy an unexpected photo-shoot opportunity, you can sometimes get the best results out of having a camera to hand and a little luck, needless to say, we were both pretty pleased with the results.
I asked a photographer friend of mine to shoot some sunset images of me which were totally inspired by these when we were on holiday in Ibiza – I hope you don’t mind. They didn’t come out as vivid orange as these but we got some good shots. I love this photo set of yours so, so much!
