Deposit & Payment Schedule
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to guarantee your place.
The remainder of the fee is required 60 days before the trip date.
Hands up now, who would like to join us in Iceland on a 5-day / 4-night space photography mission where we not only take in some of the best locations that beautiful Iceland has to offer, but attempt to recreate the moon landing photographs on Iceland’s lunar-like landscapes. Professional photographer Paul David Smith will lead you on this 1-2-1 private Spaceman themed photography holiday along the south coast of Iceland, giving you the opportunity to photograph our Spaceman in some epic landscapes.
FAQs
What Skills, Experience & Equipment Do I Need?
There are no specific skills needed to attend the Iceland Photography Holiday. Please bring the following equipment with you:
Your camera gear – I’d recommend: Camera, lenses, tripod, filters (if you have/use them), memory cards, camera strap, camera cleaning gear (Iceland gets wet & muddy, so just in case).
I will be bringing my DJI drone – If you would like to shoot using this you will need to bring a formatted micro SD card to do so. If you do own your own drone then feel free to bring it too!
What Flight Shall I Get?
The fee does not include your flights. If you are UK based it’s highly likely we’ll try and arrange to fly out on the same flight as yourself and hence we’ll discuss arrival times, etc. upon booking. If it’s not possible to head out on the same flight as you or you are travelling in from another country then we’ll meet you at Reykjavik airport in Iceland at a pre-agreed time.

Can I Give This As A Gift?
You certainly can, just secure your place as normal and let us know the names of who will be attending in the Order Notes section of the checkout page. If you would rather give a gift voucher for this holiday, you can buy one on our Photography Course Gift Vouchers page and it will be emailed to you as a PDF within a few minutes, ready to print or forward.

Paul was amazing from start to finish, he picked us up from the airport, drove us around the entire time, taught us photography, made us laugh bounding around Iceland in a spacesuit….. My partner and I debated this trip for such a long time prior to booking. We saw it and wondered if it could possibly be as good as it sounded on the website and in the end we arranged a video chat with Paul to talk it through as it was quite a lot of money and we wanted to be confident it was going to be worth it. From the first few minutes we started to listen to Paul talk us through the trip we knew it was going to be special, Paul was very passionate about explaining all the work that had gone into putting it all together and we booked on a few minutes after hanging up the video chat. Paul met us in London and we all flew out together which was nice and when we arrived in Iceland he drove us all to the accommodation. Iceland is simply incredible, we’d never been before and it felt like at every turn there were photographs to be had. We kept having to stop the car so we could jump out and get shots with which Paul happily obliged. The space suit is amazing, they have gone to so much effort to put it together for this trip and it looks so special in the photographs. Paul was really creative when we recreated some of the moon landing pictures and happily put the suit on many times throughout the trip in different locations so we could capture some great photos. I cannot recommend this trip enough, it is something we will remember for the rest of our lives and is worth every single penny.
