Johnny Haines –
I’ve long wanted to try surf photography but didn’t really know where to start so was really pleased to find Paul’s course dedicated to the subject. Paul quickly assessed my current abilities and spent some time teaching me what I needed to know to capture images out in the water. We then put on our wetsuits, headed out into the sea and spent a lot of time photographing surfers which was so much fun. It’s certainly not easy though, taking images whilst the waves are crashing into you and it takes some getting used too, but Paul gave me lots of tips and tricks for how to handle it all and I came away enthused to go and buy my own equipment and get myself out in the water again. A fantastic course which I would recommend.
